I opened my shed door - and there it was, inside the door frame. I reckon it is a Marbled Gecko (Christinus marmoratus or Phyllodactylus marmoratus)

looks like a St. John's wort subspecies (most likely hypericum androsaemum). As lovely as its flowers look, this shrub is actually an invasive noxious weed in Australia.

Banksia is a genus of the family Protaceae. Its around 170 species are indigenous to Australia and characterised by their flower spikes which turn into seed cones after flowering. This photo is of either B. serrata or B. aemula (the two species look very similar).
