While I was on an early morning ramble in Wascana Park I was startled to see a porcupine coming toward me. It soon veered off the path, and I discovered it can move pretty fast. Fortunately for me, it seemed more spooked than I was.

On an early morning visit to Wascana Park the first animal I encountered was a porcupine. I was startled. I came close to me until it ambled off the walking path into the grass. This was the best profile shot I made that morning.
