Another view of a solitary tree beside the Trans-Canada Highway, near Indian Head, Saskatchewan.

Part of this tree is alive, although the remainder appears to be dead, perhaps because of some dry years. A farmer, or succession for farmers, some years ago chose to leave it to grow, rather than removing it. I saw this image beside the Trans-Canada Highway, so I turned around at the next exit to go back for a closer look.
