A pair of Canada Geese I encountered in Wascana Park. They had been grazing their supper and were heading across a jogging path toward the lake. They are particularly territorial in the nesting season, which reminded me of the Black Knight sketch in Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail.

It appeared that the pair of ducks had an escort of gulls as they traversed a section of open water on Wascana Creek.

A close look at on e of many similar plants in a corner of the Regina Floral Conservatory. The intense green is a welcome sight at the end of a long Saskatchewan winter.

I found this colourful flower with the fringed edges at the Regina Floral Conservatory. I couldn't find a sign identifying it, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph it.

Portions of three large round cacti that grow inside the Regina Floral Conservatory. Once a year the good folks who operate the Conservatory set aside an evening for members of the local photo club to make photos of the plants that grow there. After a long winter, it's a welcome treat.
