A pathway that is part of the Wascana Park network. This path follows the course of Wascana Creek, which flows westward from the lake of the same name. I had the path to myself while I walked along.

I had not intended this image to be mostly monochrome, but when I opened it in my editing program, that is what I saw. I made a few edits to enhance the monochrome look, but that is all.

An aggressive crop to show details of the frost that had accumulated overnight on some dead leaves beside s pathway.

This is another favourite location by Wascana Lake, where the trees dip into the water or are locked in ice, depending on the season. Frost had settled on everything overnight, creating a special effect during blue hour.

During a morning ramble around Wascana Park in Regina I saw this bench dedicated to Bubba, with a plant places below the plaque. Several of the benches in the park have dedications attached. I wonder if the plant was left there by one of the people who made the dedication.

Blue hour comes late in late December, so I had plenty of time to prepare when I saw the frost that had covered everything overnight. I took this along one of the pathways around Wascana Lake in Regina.
