The sun lit the sky and the clouds in different ways as the clouds shifted around, and the sun dropped toward the horizon, after a hot day near Regina.

While walking along a pathway in Wascana Park I saw a duck by the edge of the lake. At first I thought it was injured or dead, but this duck and a few others were resting, just a few metres from the pathway. They are habituated to humans, walking, jogging or cycling by.

After a very warm day there was a thunderstorm warning. Some active skies developed just west of Regina about two hours before sunset.
