A country church on a large plot of land near Lemberg, Saskatchewan. A grotto is located in a clearing a short walk behind this church. A fieldstone school built in 1900 is also located on this parcel of land.

Weissenberg School was built in 1900. It is located on a large portion of land at the intersection of two grid roads neat Lemberg, Saskatchewan. About a two minute walk away is a church, and just beyond that is a grotto sheltered by trees. If there is a cemetery I wasn't able to find it.

An abandoned farm home with peaked roofs over the upstairs windows, with a mix of fieldstone and brick construction. This home shows a high level of workmanship.

A short walk down a tree-lined path leads to a quiet clearing where this grotto is located. It is a peaceful place that invites one to slow down and enjoy a nature break. A nearby church and school are also constructed of fieldstone. This image was taken n ear Lemberg, Saskatchewan.

A church, a school, a teacherage and a cemetery were established here around 1900. The chapel is the third house of worship built here. The cairn has the school bell mounted on top.

This little chapel in a rural area near Lemberg is well kept, and the plastic flowers in the windows indicate that it is still used. The original church built by German Catholic settlers burned down in 1904. The second church was destroyed by fire in 1921. They decided to rebuild on the site as a chapel, which I guess is 100 years old in 2022.
