A barn located a few kilometres west of Regina, where the table-flat prairie begins to ease into the valley where Wascana Creek flows.

As I prepared to photograph the barn three horses came from behind a group of trees to see what I was up to. After inspection they decided the grass was more interesting.

When this horse came over to the fence for a closer look at me I noticed that it had odd-looking eyes. I don't know if it is a genetic condition or some kind of health problem, but it is noticeable.
