A modest little chapel located on a plot of land between an historic school and a cemetery, south of Leader, Saskatchewan. The surrounding fields had already been harvested in mid-September when this was taken. The evening sky made an interesting backdrop to the chapel.

Looking south over harvested fields a swath of bright green vegetation caught my attention. I tried to capture the layers of colours and textures in the fields, the vegetation and in the clouds. Highway 21 south of Leader, Saskatchewan, is at the left side of the image.

A short walk down a tree-lined path leads to a quiet clearing where this grotto is located. It is a peaceful place that invites one to slow down and enjoy a nature break. A nearby church and school are also constructed of fieldstone. This image was taken n ear Lemberg, Saskatchewan.

Sintaluta A

Sintaluta once had several elevators, including this one, which once belonged to the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. Steel storage bins now take the place of grain elevators. The town is located beside the Canadian Pacific mainline that crosses Canada.
