This is a portion of a pergola located in a Community garden in Regina, taken just after sunrise on a summer morning. The pergola was designed and built by local artist Vic Cicansky, who is particularly known for his ceramic works depicting fruits and vegetables, so it is fitting that the pergola is located in a community garden.

A painted-metal sculpture by Regina-based artist Vic Cicansky was recently installed at a community garden near my home. Cicansky usually works in ceramics, often creating sculptures of vegetables and preserves. This large installation continues his exploration of things that grow, and appropriately, is located in a community garden full of growing plants.
