Another view of an abandoned poplar log and mud house located on a rise with a fine view of the surrounding fields. The house, as I've been told, was built in 1912 by a settler named Ruzicka. The closest community to the house is Silton, near Last Mountain Lake. Don’t use this image on websites, blogs or other media without explicit permission. Copyright William Armstrong. 2020

A few through the front window of a house with thick mud walls and poplar logs, built about 1912. Perhaps when it was built or shown after, an addition provided shelter for small farm animals. This view shows the stove, the entry into the animal shelter and the main entry door, to the right. Don’t use this image on websites, blogs or other media without explicit permission.
