As far as I know, very few poplar log and mud houses are still standing in Saskatchewan. as the elements take their toll. This one was built around 1912, and will eventually return to the earth. This poplar log and mud house was built around 1912 by a settler named Ruzicka, according to my friend who owns the land where the house is located. Taken shortly after sunrise on August 6, 2018.
