truck flower bed

I've seen some creative containers for bedding plants and flowers, but using the bed of a half-ton is one of the best. The owner of this property made a special resting place in the corner of a large garden for this International truck. I discovered a Chevy 1100 truck in a back alley in Mankota, shortly after sunrise. The truck had several colours on its body, having served through many years before reaching its resting place. The morning dew and the leaves added to the colour. Don’t use this image on websites, blogs or other media without explicit permission. Copyright William Armstrong. 2019

Every time I visit Mankota I'm drawn to this hydrant, which had had many coats of paint over the years. A man who lives next door told me the building behind used to be a fire hall.
