This lovely horse came over to the fence for a treat, perhaps hoping for carrots. All I could offer is some long grasses from the fence line.

One tern turned to look at the photographer while the other looked off into the distance

I had just packed my gear in my vehicle and begun driving when I saw a mother deer with her doe by the side of the road. By the time I stopped and readied my camera the two had moved from the ditch onto the road. The mother was obviously cautious and watchful, but also curious enough to have a long look. I spoke quietly to them, which may or may not have an effect. Eventually the mother headed across the ditch, over the fence and into the field, with the doe following.
