During a stop on a back road I noticed a bird perched on a piece of mended barbed wire. Thanks to Leonard Cohen for the photo title.

A ground-level view through barbed wire of a rancher's trail at the southern end of the Cypress Hills.

The light from the rising sun makes the dew on the plants and barbed wire sparkle. Taken on a September morning with the temperature at 2C, and very humid conditions in the Qu'Appelle Valley.

It was a foggy morning, about 2 degrees C in the Qu'Appelle Valley, with no wind. There was so much moisture in the air that water droplets formed on everything.
