I resolved to take out my Minolta film camera this summer and use some of the rolls of film that have been in the freezer for years. This image is from a roll of slide film. Editing jpeg files is more difficult than RAW, so there is some vignetting, and the sunlight is blown out on the extreme left. Still, I think the image conveys a mood.

Wascana Lake is in an urban park in the middle of Regina, Saskatchewan, within easy driving distance of home. On a cool morning in early August the lake is quiet and peaceful. Waterfowl such as Canada Geese, ducks and pelicans seem to enjoy the tranquil morning.
