A pathway that is part of the Wascana Park network. This path follows the course of Wascana Creek, which flows westward from the lake of the same name. I had the path to myself while I walked along.

I had not intended this image to be mostly monochrome, but when I opened it in my editing program, that is what I saw. I made a few edits to enhance the monochrome look, but that is all.

Blue hour comes late in late December, so I had plenty of time to prepare when I saw the frost that had covered everything overnight. I took this along one of the pathways around Wascana Lake in Regina.

Another frosty photo. This time I went down on my knees on a walking path beside Wascana Creek, to show some early morning light and trees in the distance arching over the path. Back yards are on the right, with the creek on the left.

Days of ground fog and little wind allowed frost to accumulate on everything, including trees and leaves. After about two weeks the sun came out, which makes the colours come alive, but causes the frost to vanish. I found this on a tree near where I live.
