Another image of a series from a stop by a pasture near Regina, Saskatchewan. Of the three horses in this pasture, this one was the most intent on enjoying breakfast and ignoring the photographer. I like how the morning light shone off its back.

Part of the enjoyment of photographing horses is observing how they react differently to the presence of a photographer. When I took this image one horse had already moved away. One seemed curious about who was standing nearby, while the third continued enjoying breakfast.

Rambling around back roads on a foggy morning I chanced upon three horses grazing in a lush pasture located beside a farmstead. The horse on the left was already on the move, apparently not wanting to be a part of a group photo.

I stopped at one of my favourite locations on a foggy July morning to capture images of a tree and a power pole in the midst of canola field. The bright yellow canola flowers were just coming into bloom, but the fog muted everything.

A foggy, calm morning on Wascana Lake. A combination of the fog and some cloud created an unusual effect with the rising sun, which I augmented in post processing.

All it took was one Canada goose to create some ripples on the channel between Pine Island and the shore of Wascana Lake, on a calm, foggy morning.
