It's unusual here to find a flower still blooming in October. This one had taken advantage of the shelter provided by the surrounding rocks.

A view of a portion of Wascana Creek where it meanders through Regina, around sunrise on an October morning. The leaves on the trees are turning colour at this time of year, and October also allows the photographer to sleep in a bit and still catch the sunrise.

A country church at a place called Foxleigh, near Regina, SK. There used to be a school and sports grounds of the same name across the road, but cows graze there now.
