A lovely little country church with an adjoining cemetery, located in the corner of a farm field. The church was built in 1896, which in Saskatchewan qualifies as old. The building is a municipal Heritage Property. It is used occasionally in the warmer months for weddings and other events. It is cozy and peaceful inside.

This is a memorial to the early settlers of an area known as the Riverlands Heritage Area, and is located on the north side of the North Saskatchewan River. I like the whimsical addition of the weathervane to the simple structure.

Holy Trinity Church, seen from a boat on the Churchill River, near Stanley Mission, Saskatchewan. The church is a National Historic Site and a Provincial Heritage Property.
