Southwest Saskatchewan is usually dry, but especially so as summer winds down. The different shades of beige struck me as I edited this image taken during a stop along Ravehnscrag Road west of Eastend, Saskatchewan.

A stream and abandoned house seen in Spring, from a different vantage point.

A meandering stream gurgles with spring runoff, overlooked by an abandoned home and shed. Patches of snow can still be seen in shaded areas, while a bit of green in the lower left hints at a new season of growth taking root.
