William (Bill) Armstrong's photos with the keyword: yellow flower

My intent was to photograph the bug or bee (partially visible just right-of-centre) crawling around the flower, when a bee swooped into the frame. The bee is blurred, but this is the only image I was able to take as it came into view.

iNaturalist tells me this is likely a flower called Pheasant's Eye. It's pretty, and worthy of some macro shots.

This was one of the first photos I took while visiting the local conservatory last February. My camera gear was still cold, and fogged up when it hit the warm, moist air inside the conservatory. It was an unintended effect, but I decided it had its own charm.
