Near Buffalo Pound Lake there is a church and cemetery located in the corner of a farm field. The church was built in 1896, but the large cemetery is still mostly empty. One of the early settler families was very successful; several burial plots bear the Nicolle name. This impressive granite cross stands over all of the markers.

A lovely little country church with an adjoining cemetery, located in the corner of a farm field. The church was built in 1896, which in Saskatchewan qualifies as old. The building is a municipal Heritage Property. It is used occasionally in the warmer months for weddings and other events. It is cozy and peaceful inside.
