There is a poszsibility you might be able to cross Swift Current Creek here without getting your feet wet, but you might also turn an ankle on some of the stones. I used a long exposure to try to blur the motion of the water.

It's unusual here to find a flower still blooming in October. This one had taken advantage of the shelter provided by the surrounding rocks.

I placed my "adopted" leaf against some large rocks located at the corner of the property where I live. The rocks look very different, but both would have been scraped up by glaciers many thousands of years ago, and then deposited by meltwater, and then more recently scooped up by a landscaper.

I used a somewhat longer exposure to slow down the water, and while editing I thought the rocks and the algae made for an abstract look. This was taken from an abandoned bridge overlooking Pipestone Creek in southeastern Saskatchewan.
