This is a memorial to the early settlers of an area known as the Riverlands Heritage Area, and is located on the north side of the North Saskatchewan River. I like the whimsical addition of the weathervane to the simple structure.

Beside the replica Eiffel Tower at the entry to the town of Montmartre, Saskatchewan, sits a memorial cairn remembering those who lost their lives in service to Canada in the Second World War.

At the top of the main street, and beside the entry road to the town of Montmartre, Saskatchewan, there is a replica of the Eiffel Tower constructed by a local blacksmith. Beside it is the town's WW II memorial cairn.
