Gov House welcome

08 Jan 2024 1 45
Every time I visit Saskatchewan's Government House I take some photos of this chair, which is located near the formal entrance to the building, where dignitaries would once have arrived by horse and carriage. One savvy friend suggests this was called a salesman's chair, since it was designed for only short periods of sitting. With the fellow's carved nose projecting into your back, there may be something to that explanation.
