I can't recall the exact location, but this was taken somewhere near Dorothy, Alberta, on an overcast day in 2019.

The entry to the Calgary Public Library is spectacular and welcoming; warm wood and diffused lighting. For photographers the challenge is to convey that welcoming feeling amid the ellipses and curves that the architects incorporated in the building. It is common in ghost towns to find abandoned vehicles left to rust away, and sometimes, a grain elevator also slowly falling down.
