I didn't have s particularly long lens on when I took this image, so a cropped aggressively to home in on this line of pelicans cruising on Waskesiu Lake. This was taken during a trip to Prince Albert National Park.

After a couple of days of overcast the clearing skies were welcome, adding more colour to the landscape in Prince Albert National Park. I didn't see the hole in the cloud until I edited the photo, but I think the hold and its reflection add to the image.

Pelicans in flight are graceful and powerful. They are also a challenge to track in the air. The framing of this image could be better, but at least I got the shot.

A Parks Canada boat ready for some fishing or exploring time. Considering how much rain had fallen in the preceding hours, I was surprised the boat was not filled with water.

One of these White American pelicans decided it was time to move to another part of the bay, and some of them began to follow.

I took this from inside my rolling mobile camera blind because it was cool and rainy. This is one of the beaches along Waskesiu Lake, in Prince Albert National Park. The beaches were mostly deserted, except for the water fowl, which didn't seem to mind the conditions.
