A back road, I think in the Frenchman River Valley, west of Val Marie. I recall this image was taken during an evening photo shoot, with the long rays of the sun creating light and shadows.

I was intent on taking a photo of farm buildings when I saw a vehicle coming, so I moved into the ditch. Dust is hard on lenses and cameras, but I decided to take a shot of the approaching vehicle and then m move further into the field.

two sloughs and a straight line
