I had stopped at Grayson, Saskatchewan, to photograph a church, when I noticed this critter in the empty field beside it. It was hunkered down and facing away from me at first, but it eventually rose up and turned toward me, seemingly unperturbed by my presence.

While taking pictures of a church at Grayson, Saskatchewan, I noticed something moving in a vacant lot north of the church. At first I thought it was a coyote, but it was a red fox grooming itself, and not disturbed by three photographers taking turns moving closer to take photos. When I kneeled to get a lower perspective, the fox gave me this look.
