William (Bill) Armstrong's photos with the keyword: effigies

Someone with a whimsical sense of humour has placed effigies in the upper windows of this gracious old house. I wonder if this is a house ordered from a catalogue, which was fairly common in the early days of homesteading in Saskatchewan. This house had some fine finishing touches inside, but how it is home for all sorts of critters. Don’t use this image on websites, blogs or other media without explicit permission.
