My intent was to try to capture the dramatic light and active cloud conditions from a vantage point in Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. When I came to edit the image I was startled to see a star in the clouds.

The yard at the Ghost town Blues B&B outside Maple Creek has a couple of 1941 Fargo trucks, manufactured in the US for the US Army. The original colour was green (officially, Olive Drab). Post-war, this old warrior has received several paint job, including red and silver, with a good dollop of rust for good measure.
