SSC: Artwork around the house #SH19: a work of art This painting has been hanging in my great greatmothers parlour. I couldn't find out anything about the painter, he must have been regional and the picture probably is from the early 20th century. The scene depicted is tyical of farmhouses in SW Germany as I knew them as a kid.
