Akrobaten is the name of a 206m long steel and glass footbridge stretching over the railway tracks of Oslo Central Station, connecting the Grønland and Bjørvika areas. It was designed by L2 Architects, Oslo. The main photo shows the houses of Barcode in Bjørvika, the inset is towards the opposite direction (Grønland ). Akrobaten heißt eine 206m lange Fußgängerbrücke aus Stahl und Glas, die über die Gleise des Osloer Hauptbahnhofs führt und die Stadtteile Grønland und Bjørvika verbindet. Entworfen wurde die Brücke von L2 Architects aus Oslo. Das Hauptfoto zeigt die Barcode-Hochhäuser in Bjørvika, das PiP ist in die Gegenrichtung (Grønland).

Barcode is an ensemble of highrises in Oslo's Bjørvika area between the fjord and the railway station. Each house was built by different architects, the one in this photo is by Snøhetta who also built the Oslo Opera. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barcode_Project Barcode ist ein Hochhausensemble im Osloer Bjørvika- Viertel zwischen Fjord und Hauptbahnhof. On the roof of Oslo Opera House. Most of the building as well as the pavements are covered in Carrara marble but the stage tower is clad in white alumium with a design by Løvaas & Wagle imitating old weaving patterns.

The sanitary tracts at Oslo Opera are freestanding between the foyer and the cloakroom, the panelling was designed by artist Ólafur Elíasson.
