Røros Church was financed by Røros Copper Works and was consecrated in 1784. With room for ca. 1600 people it is Norway's 5th largest church and is also called Bergstadens Ziir (the pride of the mining town). Please see notes.

Hyttelva river is almost completely covered by snow and ice. It seemed to be snowing but it was only the wind;-) Der Fluss Hyttelva ist im Winter fast völlig von Eis und Schnee bedeckt. Die Schneeflocken kamen nicht von oben, sondern wurden vom Wind verweht. de.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%B8ros
