Wanted to get him off the road but Roxanne reminded me that handling them can be deadly if they expell their water.

Took old Route 66 (for kicks) north out of Barstow the last day instead of I-15. On this dead end road south of Hinkley, CA saw our first desert tortoise in nature, outside of an exhibit or sanctuary.
