Okay, here's where we were able to match an actual Lost in Space Chariot shot. I didn't get the small hill in the forground, and the distinct V rock has eroded into a softer U 40 years later, and the difference in shadows by time of day make a big difference, but this is certianly the same spot.

Also filmed here were the Chariot sequences, the Robinson's land vehicle.

Some of the shots filmed for Lost in Space include the jet pack sequences where Professor Robinson flies around. You can almost hear the John Williams' swirling theme music just looking at this place.

Here's the robot in context. It's a keychain bauble. We left it in the visitor sign in log box. Hope someone enjoyed the surprise of finding it.

Many of the second unit shots from the first season of Lost in Space (1965) were filmed here, so we brought this along.

Camp the next morning. You may recognize some of these features from Lost in Space (1965). The scenes with the giant cyclops threatening the Robinsons were shot here.
