On my way around Derwentwater to catch a launch I spotted this raven in the middle of a thundery downpour. Luckily I was in some woodland, so the camera didn't get too wet.

Early, early one summer morning... The water of the lake was absolutely still, noone was about except a few ducks, a few gulls and this elderly lady with her tripod, who just can't resist blue/orange combinations.

There are few nicer things to do on a sunny summer evening after a long fell walk than going home across Derwentwater on board a launch by the name of "Princess Margaret Rose".
