Took this shot on the night before the opening of our summer fair, "Hamburger Dom" on Heiligengeistfeld (Holy Ghost Field), Hamburg. This is a traditional event organised by some Hamburg-based Flickrites. It was my first time, though, and due to circumstances I was only carrying my little G12 and didn't have a tripod with me either. Luckily there was some kind of banister here to rest my camera on.

It's spring at Lake Krupunder - men are behaving like little boys playing with their model sailboats. Seen in the square, Lyme Regis, Dorset. The shape was chosen to emphasize the town's importance as a centre of the "Jurassic Coast", it resembles the thousands of ammonites that have been (and still can be) found there, especially on Monmouth Beach to the west of the Cobb, and on the beach under Black Ven, between Lyme and Charmouth. www.landmarktrust.org.uk
