In meiner Siedlung gibt es keine Bürgersteige, nur die Fahrbahn mit Abzugsgräben rechts und links sowie einer Grasfläche mit Büschen und Bäumen, die von den Anwohnern gepflegt wird. Wir kämpfen darum, dass dies so bleibt. In den 60 Jahren seit der Gründung der Lohkampsiedlung hat es nicht einen Verkehrsunfall gegeben! There are no pavements in my housing estate, just the road with ditches on either side as well as a grassy area with trees and bushes, which is being looked after by the residents. We're fighting to keep it like that. In the 60 years since the foundation of our Lohkamp estate there hasn't been a single traffic accident!

Letzte Quittenblätter im Garten meiner Nachbarin. Die vorherrschenden Farben derzeit sind braun und grün, verblühte Stauden und vergehende Blätter zeigen interessante Strukturen. Last quince leaves in my neighbour's garden. The prevailing colours are brown and green, faded perennials and decaying leaves show interesting structures.

Ich musste einfach anhalten und dies Foto aufnehmen, obwohl ich für meinen Werkstatttermin zum Winterreifen-Aufziehen bereits verspätet war. Der Kontrast zwischen den goldbraunen Blättern und den nassen schwarzen Baumstämmen zog mich an, dazu noch der zartgraue Nebelschleier im Hintergrund. I just had to stop the car and take this shot, although I was already late for my appointment at the garage to put on winter wheels.
