Bicycle stands all over the world are getting more and more artistic, as if they were competing for design awards. Or maybe they shall just allure more people to use their bikes when they go shopping. These colourful examples can be viewed and tested at Tesco's in Seaton, East Devon. What intrigued me about this old boat was a) the peeling paint and b) the cloth that must have seen better days, but even in its state of decay it still looks pretty decorative as a boat cover.

Flickrites in HiMiMaWHY group suggested there should be more background to the boat. Voilà! I personally think the background is too cluttered, I like my images more tidy and I'm striving to even make them minimalistic - although I still have a long way to go.

Besides the classical view I wanted something less common, so I fiddled with the picture in silver efex pro and came up with this holga-effect image. Doesn't it look like a haunted house? ... but very decorative. Found in Burrow Farm Gardens in East Devon (near Axminster). This is a delightful place of gigantic proportions with a variety of differently themed spaces. Happy Fence Friday everybody!

After another wet and misty morning the sun came out just as I arrived at beautiful Burrow Farm Gardens between Kilmington and Dalwood in East Devon.
