Seen from Monmouth Beach, with Golden Cap in the background, the highest cliff on West Dorset's Jurassic Coast

On a sunny Sunday afternoon in Charmouth, Dorset

Summer 2010 - I was only driving through but thought that I couldn't pass Blackpool without taking at least a handful of pics. Well, the whole seaside was under construction, so I had to plan my shots very carefully to avoid all the hustle and bustle of a building site. I was intrigued by the curving lines here. Another thing I did in Blackpool: Walked into a Jessops to buy an additional memory card - and walked out with a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens. Yessss! This is one of the first shots I took with the new lens.

Going out for exercise the Lytham St Annes rescue boat has to be towed by a tractor at low tide.

I know, I know, this is one of the most photographed spots in all of Dorset, but when you happen to be there in the evening sun you just can't refrain from pressing the shutter release.
