The Happy Couple

Vintage plastic set square superimposed on an advertisement for the Olympus OM2 published in 1979. The OM-2 was endorsed by Lord Lichfield, and the advertisement included several of his photographs of the rich and famous, presumably made using Olympus kit. I put a tinted 60 degree set square on top to encircle the abdicated King and his wife. That particular photograph was part of an exhibition at the Fox Talbot Museum in Lacock earlier this year. Nikon D2Xs and Nikkor-S Auto f/2.8 35mm lens.

Olympus OM-2

Two issues of 'Amateur Photographer' magazine from the 1970s, the one on the left open at an advertisement boasting that Lord Lichfield used Olympus equipment, the one on the right showing part of the front cover featuring a pin-up photograph by Michael Barrington-Martin. For reasons not entirely clear, I superimposed a tinted sixty-degree set square with its aperture over the Zuiko lens. This passes for art in Limboland. Photographed with a Nikon D2Xs and, in keeping with the vintage theme, a Nikkor-S Auto f/2.8 35mm lens made circa 1971 which has had the factory-AI modification.
