The Limbo Connection's photos with the keyword: ditch

Lacock Abbey. Before Covid, I spent a lot of time here, always finding opportunities for pictures, but I have not visited since 2019. In fact, I have since sold the camera and lens used to make this photograph, and a good many other pieces of kit as well. (Posted 31 October, 2023). In places Pug ditch runs rapidly over gravel and the water looks clear and clean. Yet quite nearby, the bed of the stream is muddy and slow flowing, and the nearby land becomes saturated. I used to play here with Sandra and on one occasion I ventured into the mud and began to sink. Had Sandra not pulled me free, I might not have returned many years later to make this photograph and recount this tale. Sigma 15-30mm F3.5-4.5 EX DG Aspherical DF lens on a Nikon D90.
