Salisbury Cathedral

10 Aug 2016 1 134
Salisbury cathedral was built quickly. The nave, transepts, and choir were up by 1258, a period of only 38 years. Uniquely among English cathedrals, the main building is completely in a single style: Early English Gothic. Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro and AF-S Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 G ED DX lens. Photographed from Mompesson House, in the Cathedral Close (National Trust).
