A surreal combination of elderly Nikon D40 and Tamron SP 35mm F1.8 Di VC lens. The lens is designed for use on full frame cameras whereas the D40 is a cropped sensor instrument. You'd think that using just the centre of the optics would produce a good result. Yet the processing of this was actually quite dramatic.

I live in a place where the inhabitants drop everything they don't want at their feet and walk on. Most places in England are like this, although it was not always so. There is a general air of neglect round Stokes' premises. When that sign falls off the wall and hits a passer by, the law practice just up the road is handily situated to pick up the litigation. I had a posh burger and chips in The Fleece. As an experience it easily eclipsed the foetid offerings from pre-fabricated huts staffed by people who don't care, serving products that taste like fried cardboard. I enjoyed eating at The Fleece. Nikon D700 + Tamron SP 35mm F1.8 Di VC USD lens.
