The Limbo Connection's photos with the keyword: hanging

V. dim light. Old camera stretched at 1600 ISO. Macro lens at f/3.5. As so often, it was the last photo of the batch. And it gets posted purely because the earlier ones are even worse.

The lady of this house enjoys reading, makes her own clothes, and is particular over her laundry.

Nikon D700 + Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 AF-D lens.

Nikon D2Xs + Nikkor-O.C Auto 35mm f/2 lens. Lens made circa 1973. Camera on 800 ISO - not where the D2Xs does its best work, but needs must if no flash. Aperture wide open at f/2. High speed crop deployed, making the field of view experience 2 x 35mm. (All the characteristics of the 35mm nevertheless remain). Using high speed crop is handy for getting in closer, but it halves the MP from 12 to 6 and it would therefore be a better idea to change to a lens with greater telephoto capability.

One very helpful benefit of digital photography is the ability to see whether the effect you want has been achieved. This was shot with a Nikon D700 and a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 AI-S lens set at f/5.6.
