Shaft! Can ya dig it? Nikon D2Xs and Nikkor 85mm f/1.4 AF-D lens. I used the high-speed crop mode where the crop factor is x2, so this was like having a 170mm lens. Speed:1/50th; ISO: 200; aperture: f/4.

Canon EOS D30. I can't remember whether I used a Soligor C/D Wide-Auto f/2.8 28mm lens or a Chinon 55mm f/1.7: I think it was the Soligor. For all their faults, those M42 lenses on modern digital cameras provide something different and oddly compelling.
