Tributes poured in this afternoon following the announcement of the death of Civic Pride. Mr Pride had been suffering from lassitude for several years and his passing had been expected as his will weakened and his grip on his responsibilities was surrendered. I have deleted the telephone number in post processing to spare the college lecturer from a blizzard of indignant calls protesting over the wanton littering of a beautiful place by trainee troglodytes lacking good manners and a sense of social responsibility.
