This is Waden Hill near the village of Avebury. Over the brow is West Kennet Avenue; behind is Silbury Hill; in between this position and Silbury is the fledgling River Kennet. The ascent is steep: about 125 metres in less than half a kilometre. Nikon D2Xs + Tamron 70-210mm f/2.8 LD SP (67DN) lens.
